The New York EDITION seamlessly blends the elegant design of Ian Schrager with its Madison Avenue landmark beginnings. Originally constructed in 1909 as Metropolitan Life Insurance Company’s headquarters, this clocktower, near Madison Square Park, has been ingeniously reinvented to offer luxury boutique accommodation, a tranquil hotel spa, chic new event spaces and a Michelin-starred restaurant helmed by Executive Chef Jason Atherton, all encompassed by 360-degree views of the City. The Clocktower restaurant offers updated classics and contemporary British fare by Michelin starred Chef Jason Atherton. Located on the hotel’s landmarked second floor, The Clocktower includes three uniquely-designed dining rooms, a billiards room, and a bar made entirely of gold leaf. Bespoke cocktails and Magic Owl Easy Blond Ale, brewed exclusively for The New York EDITION, are offered at the Lobby Bar, as is breakfast, lunch and light dinner.

“Quite possibly my new favorite hotel in New York! Right when you arrive in the lobby that luxurious Edition smell hits your senses. Check in was a breeze - Dana and Sal at the front desk went above and beyond and both exemplify what customer service should be! All the staff, from the valets who open the doors for you to the bartenders who are masters of their craft, do so with a genuine smile.Little things like the full minibars in the rooms and crystal glasses are what make a difference for me - many hotels in New York have cut back on services the last couple years but that isn't the case here.I highly recommend splurging for the loft rooms! The combination of high ceilings and jetliner views make you want to curl up by the window and people watch all day”
