I had a great stay here in January. The staff were very friendly, recognized my Titanium Elite status, and upgraded me to a larger room. Breakfast was basic, but passable (the property should consider adding oatmeal as a daily offering). All in all, a solid choice at the price, and worth a look if you need a place in the area.

I'm a bad guest. I have stayed here several times and have never rated them. Evertime I stay here I get an upgraded room and snacks in my room. The really take care of guests with high Marriott status. The employees are always friendly. I have had over 200 nights of Marriott nights this year and this is the most consistent Marriott properties .

Updated.. or is it? I’m having a hard time telling. Lobby is nice and bar/restaurant is small but nice as well. The front counter staff was extremely nice and helpful. The room had a heavy smell upon entry. It’s a smell you would expect from a room with a big wall mounted AC unit under the back window. Bed and furniture are decent enough.

While the hotel looks pleasing to the eye... It make me wonder why this hotel is so out-dated? The nasty tile in the entry and the bathroom. The 1970's tub. The raggedy curtains. A window without a screen. Lights that don't work. Dirt in all the corners. This is my first time in a Marriott. To say the least I'm not impressed. If they took care of the inside as well as they do the outside they would have a 5 star hotel. Not worth the money. You can get the same quality at super 8 down the street.

I've stayed here twice before and had no issues. They were very comfortable stays. This time unfortunately was very different. Now, the staff were all incredibly friendly. Desk to housekeeping. And they were all helpful and kind. And the hotel location is nice and quiet yet convenient to St George. Pets were welcomed with a smile. But that's where the good news ends. For starters, for the duration of the stay the toilet did not work. It wouldn't fill or flush. But it was one night, so we could make the hallway ones work. Oh wait! The hallway women's bathroom wouldn't flush either! Plumbing issues galore. The room was really tired. The couch had a massive hole in the cushion. The carpets were dirty, and the room didn't even have facial tissues or paper towels. Thankfully the housekeeping team provided. And since we had arrived at 3am, we had a do not disturb sign hung on the door. No worries, the housekeeping team barged right in during breakfast! They were apologetic and left but maybe next time they could read the sign FIRST. The shower had great water pressure but never got truly hot. The property has great potential and has starred in the past, it just needs some general updates and improvements now. Parking was a breeze and the grounds were pretty. Nice views from the front overlooking the city! Located really close to restaurants and shopping (Target is close by, handy for toiletries the room didn't have!)

Dirty hotel!! These rooms aren't clean! Upon entering the room, we walked into a dirty tissue on the floor, dirty pillow cases and pubic hairs not only in the tub, but on the bathroom door as well...

St George is always busy with people passing through, baseball, softball or soccer tournaments so sometimes the hotels get booked up. I prefer to stay at the sister property of the Townplace Suites...

For a hotel that was renovated in 2015, it is surprising (and disappointing) to me that this property feels worn, dirty, and dingy, as if it has not been well taken care of. The King Suite is small...
