Nice location and great service. The rooms are spacious for New York City

As a former Hilton employee I wasn't too impressed with this DoubleTree.The gentleman that checked us in didn't tell us what floor our room was located on (or the people ahead & behind us), didn't tell us what floors the amenities were on or inform us of the hold deposit amount. Walls were very thin, we could hear the infant next door crying multiple times in the night & sounded like the child was in our room. First night we were there someone was vacuuming in the hall right outside our room between 12 PM - 1 PM which woke us up (along with the infant next door). Room was smaller than how depicted in the pictures online (we had a king suite w/ a couch) it was fine for 2 people but still felt small. The elevators were small & people were constantly having to wait for them. It was a tight space to get off the elevators especially if there were others waiting to get on (even worse if people had luggage). There was only 1 noted staircase that was also narrow. I get that this is a hotel in a crowded city but it felt like too much was crammed into each floor.There was no list of local restaurants, no room service menu, no menu for the onsite restaurant, and no TV guide. The desk light wasn't working & there was a small leak coming from the bathroom sink faucet. According to the hotel's Covid procedures we shouldn't have received housekeeping service during our stay unless we requested it. Our room was serviced everyday even though we didn't request it. Not that we didn't mind, but we were in town for a wedding & having another person go through the room that we were not expecting was a little off putting since our family was being very strict with Covid procedures for the wedding.The gentleman who checked us out the morning we left was much nicer & friendly then the one who checked us in the night we arrived; he even let us know that we could leave our luggage with the downstairs bellhop so that we could visit a few more places before our flight. The hotel is in a great location with lots of areas within walking distance such as Battery Park & Ferry to the Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island, The Jewish Heritage Museum & National Museum of the American Indian and many restaurants.

Not as good as the name may suggests. The only positive was the bed mattress and the location if your interest is in the financial district. Except the above it was a very small room , a little dusty in some spots , the safe was not working,the staff was OK but not super helpful or friendly , and the worst was the elevators. We waited 30 minutes for an elevator one day in order to go down. In general a mediocre experience.

The WORST hotel experience thus far! Stayed for 2 nights. Check-in staff was not very friendly, no courtesy whatsoever. They definitely need more training. Embarrassing for a Hilton Brand, really. Rooms are SUPER small. You can't open toilet door and shower door at the same time. Walls are paper thin, so you can hear everything that is going on in the halls. Guarantee you'll be woken up once or twice during the night. Elevators?!? HA! Do yourself a favor and stay on the lower floor, because you'll be walking up and down, especially during peak hours. Or, like many people mentioned, you'll be waiting for 10-15mins just to find out that the elevator is full, and then you have to wait another round. Just terrible. Had to wait close to an hour to have some extra towels delivered. That's how much they care for a guest. Had breakfast at hotel restaurant. Decent Eggs Benedict. But the atmosphere was kinda sad. As a Gold Member I received a food voucher worth $30 for 2 people. You charge it to the room and the hotel adjusts your bill, but the front desk managed to mess that up, too. All in all, really disappointing experience. The only good thing about this hotel is location. But luckily, there are many other hotels in the area. Never staying there again.

Starting with the front desk staff. Horrible. Unprofessional. I did not felt welcomed. Nor my family. I see how people complain about this over and over again, and seems like it hasn’t change. Management is also a problem here. Hotel’s location is perfect. Very close to attractions. However, front desk staff need to get a lot more customers service training, make the customers feel welcomed, make more eye contact, smile often, offer assistance when needed,…I am so sad that I wasn’t treated welcomed.

I travel to New York very frequently on business, and have done so for 20 years.Over that time I have stayed in dozens of hotels.This is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at in New York, and among the worst I have ever stayed anywhere in the world.There are three elevators serving the entire 44 story building, and they are used by guests and staff alike.It can take 15 minutes to call an elevator to your floor, and when it arrives it is very often full.I stayed on the 23rd floor and had to use the stairs on multiple occasions because getting into an elevator was impossible.I checked out early in order to check into another hotel (the Downtown Marriott - a far better property), and was forced to haul my luggage down 23 flights of stairs.In doing so, I encountered several other people doing the same thing.Apart from the dreadful elevator situation, they do not offer daily housekeeping.Furthermore, the rooms are small, dark, badly furnished, and very depressing.DO NOT STAY HERE!

Nice hotel, good location. Plenty of restaurants and nightlife in walking distance. The room was a bit small for my taste, but it was clean and comfortable. The staff were amazing.Very friendly and accommodating.

The location was good. The thing I did not like is the elevators. Management needs take a look at this. I waited over 5-10 minutes for elevator most of the time and gave up and took the stairs. And please provide more than 2 flat pillows for a queen size bed.

First timer to NYC. All that I was looking was for a place to crash after a busy day and this hotel served the purpose. Conveniently located and just few minutes walk to Charging Bull, Battery Park (SOL ferry station), 9/11 Monument and Wall Street. The pricing depends and varies based on each day of the week, which is understandable. However, I am rating this 3 star because: - rooms are smaller than what’s shown in the picture (felt claustrophobic) - size of bed is smaller than usual (I was staying in a room with 2 queen sized bed and my kids never seem to be comfortable) - slow room service. I requested for additional bath towels and it arrived after couple of hours - no hot breakfast. Microwaveable Frozen food only. No Buffet. - No trash bin in room. Seriously!!! - No hair dryer - no attached and valet parking. Paid parking only at a garage close by (2 mins walk). Parking is kinda scam. The hotel claims it’s $45 a day. However, it varies depending upon the size of vehicle which is decided by the garage operator. Since my vehicle was F150, I was asked $15 additional a day stating my vehicle is oversized. If you are okay to manage all of the above, then choosing this hotel or something else it up to you!

Hotel do lado de várias atrações turisticas, e do transporte público. Quartos limpos e bem confortáveis. Internet funciona muito bem.

Muito caro pelo que oferece. Vale apenas pela localização mas os quartos são muito pequenos. A foto no site não mostra a realidade do hotel que não tem aquela bela fachada. O room-service é horrível e caro. Você tem que esperar as vezes mais de 29 minutos pelo elevador e a limpeza deixa muito a desejar. Não recomendo. Nada a ver com os Double Tree onde já me hospedei.

Muito bem localizado, próximo a 3 linhas do metrô. Hotel limpo e de qualidade com preço acessível. Recomendo a todos que vão a NY a turismo como foi o meu caso.

Hotel atende, mas dica numa região muito boa, com bastante opções e longe do agito insano da 5a avenida!

Um bom hotel, apesar de já estar com vários sinais de idade, mas o serviço é decente e o staff é educado.

La ubicación y seguridad del hotel es muy buena. En general es un buen hotel 3 estrellas. Contamos con secador, plancha, mini fridge y caja de seguridad. Cuando solicitamos la limpieza de la habitación o algún apoyo en la misma lo hicieron a tiempo. Cuenta con cafetera y bolsas de café, té y azúcar. El rembolso del depósito ocurrió en los plazos acordados. Se puede mejorar un poco la limpieza de las áreas comunes.

Our family stayed here for a week and had a wonderful stay. Wonderful view (we asked for city view), staff was super friendly. Hotel is situated close to a metro station which was very handy.

Terrible views out of a dirty window. 3 elevators for the whole building so odds are youre waiting a while for one to come. Tiny rooms as well. Only positive is the location. Very close to battery park and interesting locations.

Disappointed with their team and how rude some of them acted towards me and my cousin who were to stay there. Honestly the guy storing the luggage was more pleasant to speak to. We were also pushed out of an elevator for flight attendants from Milan and I feel that could have been handled better. There was no coffee maker and no trash can which was disappointing. Will not be staying there again despite the beautiful building location

I don’t think they really clean and sanitize the rooms. Found a long strand of hair in the bed sheets, red hair in the counter and red hair in the shower. Perhaps the cleaners need to wear hairnet??? Luckily we bought our own Lysol wipes and spray. I think they just put the blue tape on the door to make it seem like they disinfect. Shower tub seems to have mold on the corner. Hopefully they are at least washing the bed sheet comforter. They also gave us half a roll of toilet paper that was used by the last person who occupied the room. I have never been in a hotel that does that. Only cable with only 63 channels.

Tienen una muy buena ubicación pero pésimo personal de recepción tienen una mala actitud para atender, los ascensores son un dolor de cabeza solo hay tres y pequeños para tantos pisos, no te ponen botellas de agua en la habitación y mucho menos te reponen el jabón y shampoo , nos dieron una habitación la cual no servía él a/c se informó de la situación enviaron a la persona de mantenimiento la cual no pudo resolver nada y siempre con mala actitud nos cambiaron de habitación la cual no podía regular la temperatura del a/c o te morias de frío o de morias de calor no había de más, debes pedir que vayan a limpiar tu habitación pero al parecer solo te tienden las camas porque las botellas y migajas de basura seguían en la habitación , paredes pegadas de chicle muy desaseado para mi gusto..

Love Love Love...Hotel is very clean & welcoming, Staff is very helpful & kind Especially Elijah he such a sweet heart.. He makes sure you are good taking care of. Overall this one of the best hotel in the Financial District....

Nice hotel. Had to switch rooms but customer service was more than welcome to help. BE AWARE!: Doesn't have their own parking lot and have to pay for parking around the corner! Also, elevators are extremely difficult and time consuming with 40+ floors. Other than that, this place is decent. In the middle of everything!

Las imágenes que muestran en la página no coinciden con la realidad, teníamos reservacion por 3 noches cancelamos ya que pedimos que limpiaran un poco la habitación y sacarán la basura y pusieran toallas limpias y no lo hicieron esperamos 2 noches.

Bonito hotel de la ciudad de Nueva York ubicado en la parte sur de Manhattan. Es un lugar cómodo para dormir y muy accesible a metro y a lugares importantes de la ciudad. Las habitaciones son cómodas y algunas tienen lindas vistas al río Este y otras tienen lindas vistas a la ciudad. Bien ubicado y con un servicio aceptable.

The rooms were very clean and nice, The area was also nice BUT parking was a scam, I called prior to booking to confirm all information and get answers to all my questions. I was told they had parking for 45.00 a day. That was a scam it was a parking Garage and you got the price discounted to 45.00 but here's the kicker it was 45.00 Everytime you left the garage. The only way you could get 45.00 a day was if you didn't move your car at all. I was very disappointed because I called and wasn't given this information. Also they have 44 Floors with only 3 elevators but only 2 running because 1 was always filled with housekeeping stuff. So it was always a long wait for elevators!!! I normally love double Tree but not this location.

We stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton during our trip to New York and we enjoyed our stay. It is in a great location, close to greats restaurants and attractions. Staff was friendly. The reason for 4 stars is because the bathroom in the room was very narrow. Also, you could be stuck waiting for an elevator for a long time so make sure you don’t book your ride until you’re downstairs. Overall it was a good experience and we would return.

I checked into this hotel and the concierge Brian has poor customer service quality. He assigned me to a double room and never told me about it. The stand up shower bathroom have absolutely no room to move around in and water leaked out of shower. Upon hearing my issues for a room that I paid for I was told there’s no health issues so I won’t be able to change rooms I will have to pay a $30 upgrade fee. For such a big hotel the size of the room especially the bathroom was disappointing and the customer service skill interaction needs to be addressed

Me gusto mucho está cerca de todo del ferry, wall street, muy buenos restaurantes por la zona. El hotel es bonito limpio y en recepción muy amables! Lo recomiendo.

The location is soooo convenient everything is closed by ... pharmacy, Battery Park, many places to eat, wall st. , Broadway, 12 minutes from 9/11 memorial, 5 minutes from the Staten Island ferry! The room was fairly small but very comfortable, checking in & out was simple without any problems. If you need toilet paper, towels, blankets (if you staying more than one night) you need to go ask for it & if is not available them and there you might have to wait a while to get it. Keep in mind parking is about 5 minutes away from the hotel (don’t be like me & drive around to every icon parking) the one close by is a affiliated with the hotel which makes it $40 a night and you’re not allowed to take the car out at all unless you’re done with your stay. I will definitely be back if needed ... very friendly staff, clean !! The only downside is the elevator... 3 slow elevators for 42 floors ... kind of a drag .. but overall everything was great!

O banheiro estava vazando e não conseguiram arrumar. Não tem frigobar no quarto. O ar condicionado faz bastante barulho, assim como a maquina de gelo no corredor. Ah, dá pra ouvir os vizinhos de quarto também. Os elevadores são mal programados. Uma saga pra subir ou descer. Pontos positivos: Os funcionários são amistosos e dispostos a ajudar. A cama é OK. A localização é bem boa.
